If you’re visiting Myeong-dong in Seoul, South Korea, this is a Michelin-recognized restaurant for kalguksu (noodle soup) that’s well worth a visit.

This is what the exterior looks like.

The *kalguksu* (knife-cut noodle soup) remains as appealing as ever, featuring a rich, meaty broth with a subtle hint of smokiness, paired with soft, smooth noodles that go down easily. The *mandu* (dumplings) are generously stuffed and bursting with savory juices, making them the perfect accompaniment to the noodles.

The real highlight, however, is the *geotjeori* (freshly made kimchi)—loaded with plenty of garlic, it’s sharp and spicy, ensuring that every bite is full of flavor. You can even ask for extra noodles or a side of rice to enjoy with the kimchi, making for a truly satisfying meal. It’s a spot I make sure to visit whenever I’m in Myeong-dong.
